We got to go to a sneak preview. We were kind of disappointed when we got there because there was another line waiting to see the new James Bond movie, CASINO ROYALE. I LOVE James Bond movies. Let me tell you a story. When I was little, ABC used to show James Bond movies on Sunday nights. The Father and I used to watch them together, a whole three hours of James Bond. Even though it was a school night. And then there was a whole half hour of the local news that we really didn't get to watch because The Father would have to spend that half hour trying to explain to me what the hell just happened in the movie because I was like 10 and didn't understand jack shit about the Cold War, not that I understand any of it any better now. But then after James Bond and the news, The Father would let me watch Benny Hill and Dave Allen At Large. So now you know why I'm so twisted and fucked up.

SO YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT DEJA VU.

Deja Vu is awesome. It starts with a ferry full of Navy guys and their families blowing the hell up. Denzel Washington is an ATF agent sent in to investigate. With the help of a chubby Val Klimer he tracks down the bomber. But then there's this chick that's dead, and at first they thought she died in the bombing, but then Denzel figures out that the bomber killed her, and that's his new angle for tracking down the bomber. And then lots of shit blows up and there's SCIENCE of all things, and it's ALL SORTS OF AWESOME. I'm serious, even if you aren't all into the things blowing up, this movie is really, really good. Everyone's acting is awesome, the dialogue is snappy, and there's a shitload of suspense. Even when I thought I had it all figured out, I still was on the edge of my seat. Plus, it's not gross or vulgar. I think this film has the potential to appeal to a lot of people.

So unfortunately, that's it for my review. I would tell you more about it, but it would really, really spoil it. I read a review of it before we went, and it revealed a pretty big plot point, and I think the movie would have been even more kick ass had I not known about it. So that's it for telling you about it. You'll have to go and see it for yourself. And you should. Because it's awesome.

For this weekend, The Husband, The Brother, and I will be attending the 8 Films To Die For Horrorfest, which is going to kick all sorts of ass simply because it features SNOOP DOGG'S HOOD OF HORROR. Which will be the greatest movie I've ever seen, I can already tell you. Because, hey, Snoop. And you know I'm all down wid dat.
